How to Opt Out
tarte makes opting out frictionless. A single click on the footer link stops the sharing of your data with advertising partners going forward; no fees, forms, or account logins are involved. Keep in mind that opting out limits behavioral ad targeting but does not remove all cookies, some of which are strictly necessary for the site to function.
How to Submit a Request
To make a request regarding your personal information, contact us through any of the channels we provide. Tell us specifically what you want — an opt-out, a copy of your data, or a deletion — and provide enough detail for us to locate your records.
Verifying Your Identity
tarte is obligated to make sure that only you — or someone you have authorized — can access or delete your information. To that end, we ask requesters to supply identifying information that we can cross-check internally. Any details you share for verification are used solely for that purpose and are not retained longer than necessary.
Response Timeframes
We aim to resolve your request as quickly as circumstances permit. For opt-outs, that is nearly immediate; for access and deletion, tarte adheres to the forty-five-day standard and reserves the right to a single extension of up to forty-five further days for genuinely complex matters. You will always be told if your request will take longer than expected.
